Icon of Friendship - Christ and St. Menas − a Coptic icon from the 6th-7th century from the monastery in Bawit, Middle Egypt. It illustrates a spiritual bond - the mysticism of relationship. Christ places his hand on the abbot's shoulder in a gesture of friendship; Menas points with his right hand to Christ, who is his support. Friendship is not looking at each other, but in the same direction. The content refers to Christ's words from the Gospel of John: "I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends".
